Can I drive from my wheelchair?
As an OEM (original equipment manufacturer), we are required to produce a vehicle with a fixed driver’s seat and driver’s side airbag. This is a requirement established by the government and is necessary for us to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). Our engineering team is constantly looking into ways to refine the design of the MV-1 and we hope one day to offer this as a factory option.

Where do I get the MV-1 serviced?
The Vehicle Production Group (VPG) intends to maximize vehicle uptime for our customer base. We already have many dealers in place nationwide that will provide delivery and service of the MV-1 and continue to develop our delivery and service network to meet all the needs of our customers. As we add more dealers and service locations we will be announcing them at vpgautos.com, on Facebook and via email updates.

What if I need service and I'm over an hour away from an MV-1 dealer?
For vehicles under warranty and over 60 miles away from an authorized dealer, VPG offers Remote Vehicle Servicing. This allows you to deal directly with a familiar dealership instead of relying on your selling dealer to arrange a sublet. Vehicle must be taken to a dealership (any brand), not an independent service center, unless pre-approved as an emergency situation by the VPG Service Department. How many MPG?
The fuel economy for the MV-1 (Gas) is 13 City/18 Highway MPG. The MV-1 is also available in an optional Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fuel system. CNG can be expressed in gasoline gallon equivalents; the relevant comparison is cost per mile. In today's gasoline and CNG pricing, there is approximately a 30% or more savings in cost per mile.

Are there hand controls for the MV-1?
As an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) we do not offer hand controls as a factory direct option. Many third parties have a long history in the mobility industry and have been developing solutions in anticipation of this need. We encourage you to contact your local MV-1 dealer or local certified driver rehabilitation specialist (CDRS) and inquire about the availability of third-party solutions.

Do you accept accessible vehicles as trade-ins?
MV-1 Dealers will accept all types of accessible vehicles, cars, trucks and SUVS as trade-ins.

Will the purchase of the MV-1 qualify for other incentives from federal, state and local governments?
The MV-1 qualifies for many incentives and subsidies, depending on the credits that are available. These credits could include subsidies for the purchase of wheelchair accessible and/or alternative fuel vehicles. For specific information, please call 877-681-3678.

Can I get financing?
Absolutely! The Vehicle Production Group LLC (VPG) and our MV-1 Dealers work closely with many different banks and lending institutions to offer our customers a wide array of financing options. We also recommend that clients reach out to their local credit union or bank for structure and possible rate discounts.

Does the MV-1 come with a towing package?
A class 2 towing package (3500 lbs) is currently being developed for the MV-1. It will be available through a number of third parties later this year. Stay tuned for more information!
