"Passengers in the MV-1 haven’t had a riding experience like this ever before. We’re proud to be running 10 MV-1s on the streets of Louisville and couldn’t be happier with the superior service this brand-new vehicle provides."
J. Barry Baker, executive director of the Transit Authority of River City (TARC), Louisville, KY

"Our customers love the MV-1 and the great visibility it provides … something they’ve not experienced before in other vehicles. The METRO Regional Transit Authority is proud to provide this level of service. Our MV-1s run on compressed natural gas and provide a significant cost savings on fuel as well. Hats off to the Vehicle Production Group for this vastly improved riding experience."
Robert Pfaff, executive director of the METRO Regional Transit Authority, Akron, OH

"I have approximately 500 taxis in my fleet, and a number of them are wheelchair-accessible, lowered-floor minivans. I am switching my entire wheelchair-accessible fleet over to the MV-1 because the MV-1 is an OEM, factory-built vehicle meeting ADA guidelines and designed from the ground up to handle the rigors of fleet/taxi service. Conversely, structurally modified minivans were never designed for the day-to-day operational demands of fleet and taxi service. I estimate that I spend, on average, $7,000 per vehicle annually on my lowered-floor minivans above my normal vehicle operational costs. Weekly repairs are performed to these vehicles due to the constant bottoming out of the vehicles that, of course, creates continuous damage to suspension parts and exhaust parts. There is also great driver dissatisfaction relating to all vehicle repair issues, and it’s hard to keep drivers on a vehicle that is constantly breaking down since they lose revenue as well. The MV-1 will not only improve my bottom line, it will improve the comfort of my client’s ride."
