How do I order an MV-1?

The ordering process is described below. When ordering your MV-1 you will also be able to indicate your preferred delivery date.

  • Step One: Reserve (order) your vehicle through the Build Your MV-1 link that can be found on our website. A $250 refundable deposit is required. You will receive an email confirming your order.
  • Step Two: Indicate your preferred delivery date. A sales associate will contact you within 7 business days to confirm your order and to review delivery date options with you. VPG will attempt to ensure that you receive your new MV-1 as close to the date that you indicated as possible.
  • Step Three: Approximately 120 days before your vehicle is scheduled for production you will again be contacted to confirm your order and be allowed to make any changes. At this time, your deposit is no longer refundable.
  • Step Four: Approximately 30 days from delivery a sales associate will contact you to guide you through the “home” delivery process and payment options.

The MV-1 is proudly built in the USA by AM General LLC, in their high quality assembly facility in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Will the purchase of the vehicle qualify for other incentives from federal, state and local governments?

Federal, state and local incentives may further decrease the cost of the MV-1, depending on the credits that are available. These credits could include subsidies for the purchase of wheelchair accessible and/or alternative fuel vehicles.

Some examples include:

  • $4,000 Qualified Alternative Fuel Motor Vehicle (QAFMV) Federal tax credit as note above for the CNG model.
  • $11,000 Disabled Veterans Grant for the purchase of a wheelchair accessible vehicle such as the MV-1.
  • $4,000 Alternative Fuels Rebate Program in Illinois for the CNG model.
  • $4,500 Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) tax credit in Oklahoma for the CNG model.
  • Up to $4,000 Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) rebate in New Jersey for the CNG model.
  • Access to High Occupancy Vehicles (HOV) lanes in several states for the CNG model.

Are you going to offer financing?

How many passengers will the vehicle hold?

The MV-1 vehicle is designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 occupants with the optional jump seat, including a wheelchair passenger and the driver.
