Engineered to be durable, cost-efficient to operate, and easy to maintain, our vehicle is equipped with groundbreaking features that create an outstanding value. With a focus on safety, the vehicle is designed with anti-lock brakes, a strong frame and body structure, and energy-absorbing bumpers. VPG’s overall objective to achieve accessibility and versatility is illustrated by our vehicle’s interior design, which provides seating positions for four passengers in the rear compartment plus an additional space for a common wheelchair or scooter. Our vehicle is compliant with the vehicle standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). Passengers can easily enter the vehicle by either stepping inside the vehicle or by using a standard recessed access ramp. In addition, our vehicle’s interior layout and ample luggage space allow for alternate interior configurations that will accommodate multiple wheelchairs and passengers. The extra-large trunk space is big enough to carry four golf bags and a full-size spare tire. Our vehicle’s powertrain will use the proven General Motors 4.3 Liter V6, which will be calibrated and optimized for a proprietary duty-cycle to maximize fuel economy. In addition, VPG will provide a factory-direct alternative fuel model that utilizes clean-burning compressed natural gas (CNG). Made in America: VPG strongly believes in supporting the U.S. economy. Our vehicle has been designed and engineered in the United States and will be manufactured by AM General LLC® in Mishawaka, Indiana. | |||
